Tarot 101: Foundations

A beginner-friendly introduction to tarot.

As the nights grow longer and October invites us inward, it’s the perfect time to begin your tarot journey. In this cozy 2.5-hour class, you’ll learn the foundations of tarot: the structure of the deck (Major Arcana, Minor Arcana, suits, and court cards), how to choose and care for your deck, and simple ways to shuffle and pull cards. We’ll explore how numbers, colors, and imagery bring the cards to life, and you’ll practice one- and three-card spreads you can use right away. You’ll leave with a foundation on which to develop your own Tarot practice and a spark of magic to guide you through the season.
